Moderator Guidelines

Moderators are trusted members of the StellarMC staff team who play a vital role in maintaining the server’s integrity and ensuring a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all players. As a Moderator, you are a key part of the team that upholds the rules, supports players, and handles disruptions appropriately.
Your actions and behavior set the tone for the rest of the community, both in public and private interactions. Players will look to you not only for help but as a role model for how to engage on the server.
Your Responsibilities
Moderators are empowered with tools to handle disruptive behavior and support the community. Your core responsibilities include:
- Enforcing server rules and taking action when they’re broken.
- Using moderation tools to investigate griefing, theft, or misconduct.
- Assisting players with questions and problems.
- Maintaining a respectful, fair, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Communicating with Admins when serious issues arise.
What We Expect from You
- Know the rules: You should be thoroughly familiar with all server rules and guidelines.
- Be approachable: Treat all players fairly and respectfully, regardless of the situation.
- Support Helpers and the community: Provide guidance, help resolve conflicts, and be a calm, reassuring presence.
- Use moderation tools responsibly: Only take action when appropriate and always log serious incidents to the team.

CoreProtect Usage
Use CoreProtect to inspect griefing or theft. Enable it with:
/co inspect
- Left-click to inspect block placement.
- Right-click to view contents of containers like chests.
Moderation Commands
Below are the key commands available to Moderators. Use them responsibly:
/kick <player> <reason>/ban <player> <reason>/tempban <player> <duration> <unit> <reason>/warn <player> <reason>/mute <player> <time> <reason>
Command Examples:
/tempban karlsson1000 1 hour Misconduct
/warn karlsson1000 Stealing
/mute karlsson1000 30m Spam
⚠️ Note: Players are automatically banned after 3 warnings.
Important Reminders
- Always act in the best interest of the community.
- Abuse of any Moderator permissions will result in removal from the staff team and may lead to further disciplinary action, including a permanent ban.
- When in doubt, ask for help from another Moderator or Admin.
