Helper Guidelines

Helpers are active, engaged players who go the extra mile to support others and foster a friendly, inclusive atmosphere on StellarMC. As a Helper, you are often the first point of contact for new and returning players, and your actions help shape the overall player experience.

You are the face of the community, players will turn to you with questions, concerns, and for general guidance. Your role is to be approachable, supportive, and lead by example.

Your Responsibilities

While Helpers do not have full moderation duties, you do have the ability to temporarily ban disruptive players if necessary. However, your primary focus is to:

• Be welcoming and friendly to all players.
• Offer support and guidance where needed.
• Uphold and reflect the values of the server.
• Help maintain a respectful and positive environment.

What We Expect from You

• Understand the server rules: Familiarize yourself with all rules so you can confidently guide others.
• Welcome new players: Greet newcomers warmly and help them settle in. Make them feel part of the community.
• Direct questions appropriately: If you’re unsure about something, refer players to:
  • The server rules
  • The FAQ page
  • An Admin or Moderator
• Handle disruptive behavior: Use your temp-ban ability responsibly when players are causing harm to the community. Always inform a Moderator or Admin afterward.

Tempban Command Reference

Use this only when absolutely necessary and always notify the staff team after taking action.

Command Format:

/tempban <player> <duration> <unit> <reason>

Examples:

/tempban karlsson1000 1 hour Misconduct /tempban karlsson1000 3 days Griefing

⚠️ Note: Misuse of this command or any Helper permissions may result in removal from the Helper team and could lead to further disciplinary action, including a temporary or permanent ban from the server.
